Urban explorers will love this tour through one of Washington DC’s oldest and most unique neighborhoods. Over the course of two hours you’ll get to see some of the fascinating and obscure hidden gems hiding in the shadows of the U.S. Capitol.
This tour is led by Trip Hacks DC tour guide Jenn. She loves history so much that she went and got her degree in it! Jenn is a former National Park Service volunteer tour guide and expert on U.S. Presidents. He favorite President is James A. Days: Saturdays in June, July and August
Duration: Approximately 2 – 2.5 hours

Starting location: Union Station
Ending location: Historic Eastern Market
After meeting at Union station, Jenn will take you on an efficient walking route through the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Sights along the route include:

- The Capitol Summerhouse

- Neptune Fountain at the Library of Congress
